If you grew up watching “Transformers,” and have imagined owning your full-sized version of the Optimus Prime, then this video would make you squeal with delight!
Letvision (A Turkish company) has adapted an ordinary BMW into a Transformer. The BMW turns into a giant robot with arms and legs at the touch of a button! The best part is, you and I can own these transforming vehicles because the company plans to sell them.

Then at the touch of a button, it transforms into a giant robot with kinetic fingers, arm movements, and a powerful wrist action.
In this form,  it can move its arms, hands, and fingers, as well as the head and neck. But that’s not all. It can also generate fog, lighting, and sound effects, as well as connect to Wi-Fi.

well if you have #500,000 that you are not using, you can buy the phone to check it out.

Samsung has confirmed that it is in the process of recalling all 2.5 million Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices it has sold.

It also stopped sales after it found potential issues with the smartphone's battery.

After reports started to appear online of Galaxy Note 7 devices catching fire while charging, Samsung acted quickly to protect its consumers. It admitted there is a problem with some of the batteries used in phones worldwide, so halted sales.

It also revealed that it will replace all Galaxy Note 7s with a new product regardless of when it was purchased.

In a statement sent to Pocket-lint regarding UK customers, a company spokesperson said:
" Samsung is committed to producing the highest quality products and we take every incident report from our valued customers very
seriously. In response to recently reported cases of the new Galaxy Note 7, we conducted a thorough investigation and found a
battery cell issue.

"To date (as of 1 September) there have been 35 cases that have been reported globally and we are currently conducting a thorough
inspection with our suppliers to identify possible affected batteries in the market. However, because our customers’ safety is an
absolute priority at Samsung, we have stopped sales of the Galaxy Note 7.

"For UK customers who already have Galaxy Note 7 devices, we will voluntarily replace their current device with a new one over the coming weeks. For more information customers need to contact the customer service team on 0330 7261000.

"We acknowledge the inconvenience this may cause in the market but this is to ensure that Samsung continues to deliver the highest quality products to our customers. We are working closely with our partners to ensure the replacement experience is as convenient and efficient as possible."

A similar statement was sent to the US press, also offering to replace Galaxy Note 7 handsets already bought. It is yet to give US
customers details of its specific exchange program.

Neither statement said whether the handsets are safe to use in the meantime.  Recalling the new phone, which is already on sale in the US and was due to go on sale in the UK fully on 2 September, is likely to cost Samsung dearly.

The problem, which has already affected the
reported 35 handsets and possibly more could take a while, leading to loss of revenue. Then the issue will have to be "fixed".

The bill could run into the millions, and that's without the added strain of then getting a confirmed safe device into consumer hands in time for Christmas.

To add fuel to Samsung's pain further, Apple's iPhone 7 and, more perhaps relevantly, the iPhone 7 Plus are expected to launch on Tuesday 7 September.

The rather embarrassing setback for the company first appeared in late August after reports of Note 7s catching fire. Two online
cases seem to have come about when attached to a third-party USB Type-C cable, but a separate, third owner claimed that he used the official charger . The owner alleged his phone still caught alight and he posted a video of the end result.

We've been avidly following the Lenovo Yoga evolution over the years, as the convertible laptop range has continued to refine its
360-degree screen offering. In the top-spec Yoga 910 it's even stronger than ever before, with an edge-to-edge display joining the
fold.

Well, sort of edge-to-edge. Like any screen there has to be some bezel, but to the top and sides it's only a number of millimetres
separating the actual screen from the product edge.

Like the previous Yoga 900, however, there's a massive bezel to the Yoga 910's bottom edge - as part and parcel of the device's
hinge mechanism, to position the screen best when in its various positions; plus the camera and antennas live here - but we couldn't fail but spot it when the device was shown off at
Lenovo's pre-IFA conference in Berlin.

Still, there's plenty to like about this refreshed Yoga. Its "watchband hinge" - that's what Lenovo likes to call it, but it does look like a piece of jewellery, so we can see why operates seamlessly between forms, which is what really makes this product stand apart from the rest. Position it like a laptop, a tablet, in a stand or tent position for multiple usage propositions.

The latest Yoga 910 isn't exactly the same as its 900 predecessor, though, it's actually a touch thinner (14.3mm rather than 14.9mm) and features the latest Intel Core i 7th Gen processors.

There's also a 4K resolution panel option, as shown in our pictures, which at its 13.3-inch scale would certainly make for ultra-crisp viewing.

Furthermore there's a brand new fingerprint scanner built into the device for quick and secure access - no passwords required.

That's a rare feature, with even the Microsoft Surface Book ditching the design for UK shores. We've been assured that this Yoga will support the feature for all shipments.

That thinner size doesn't affect the device's connectivity: there's a full-size USB 3.0 slot which just about fits into the body, while two
USB Type-C ports sit on the opposite side to ensure future proofing.

The Lenovo Yoga 910 is definitely a looker, then, but it's definitely pricey too: starting at £1,099, this is an investment laptop with
enough standout features to warrant its price point. Push up to the 4K display and expect to pay a chunk of extra cash, although
exactly how much hasn't been confirmed for the UK.

TomTom is making its move against market leaders Fitbit , with the launch of the TomTom Touch.

This is an activity tracker that wants to stay with you throughout your fitness journey, looking to differentiate itself from the mass
of other devices by showing the progression in your physical state.

While the Fitbit Flex and similar devices have been extremely popular, TomTom wants to give you a little more, with the inclusion of a body composition monitor. Using the metal sensor on the rear and the matching pad on the top that doubles as a button, the wearer can measure their body fat.

This works by sending an electrical current around your body, in this case in contact with your wrist on one arm and your finger on
the other. It works in the same way as body analysis scales, such as the Withings Smart or Fitbit Aria .

The idea is to report back more than just the number of steps taken, or estimated distance travelled, but allow you to keep track of the (hopefully) positive change in your body composition along your fitness journey.
In addition to body composition and the obligatory steps, the TomTom Touch will also track your activities, allowing you to log a
run for example and sync that to MySports, TomTom's sport app.

There's a small display on the top, to check your status and deliver you essential notifications from your phone, as well as
reporting back the results from the optical heart rate sensor.

Like TomTom's Spark, Runner and Adventurer watches, the Touch offers a changeable strap, so you can have something to suit your
style and first impressions are of something that's soft, but secure.

The TomTom Touch will be available for £129 from September and we'll be bringing you a full review as soon as we've spent some time with this new tracker.

Sony has announced a new Xperia Compact at consumer electronics show IFA in Berlin, adding to its X Series portfolio.

The Xperia X Compact launches alongside the flagship Xperia XZ, bringing Sony's smartphone total to six for 2016 alone.

How does the new Xperia X Compact compare to its predecessors though? Read on to find out what the differences are between the Xperia X Compact, Xperia Z5 Compact and the Xperia Z3 Compact.

Sony Xperia X Compact vs Z5 Compact vs Z3 Compact: Design

The Sony Xperia X Compact measures 129 x 65 x 9.3mm and weighs 135g. It features the familiar OmniBalance design found on other Xperia devices, but it is a little flatter and squarer at the top and bottom, like the XZ.
It doesn't have IP68 water and dust resistance and it doesn't offer a metal build like the flagship. Instead, the X Compact has a plasticky feel but it does have a built-in fingerprint sensor within the power button and it does offer USB Type-C.

The Xperia Z5 Compact measures 127 x 65 x 8.9mm and weighs 138g, while the Xperia Z3 Compact measures 127 x 64.9 x 8.6mm and hits the scales at 129g. This makes the new X Compact slightly larger and thicker than both, as well as heavier.

Both preceding devices have the OmniBalance design but they have a tempered glass rear and IP68 water and dust resistance. The Z5 Compact offers the fingerprint sensor in the power button, while the Z3 Compact doesn't have one at all. Both are charged via Micro-USB.

Sony Xperia X Compact vs Z5 Compact vs Z3 Compact: Display

All three devices being compared here feature a 4.6-inch display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. They all come with Sony's X-Reality and Triluminos technologies and they all use LCD technologies.

This should mean a similar experience across the board, with none of the devices offering any particular stand out features when it comes to the display.

The X Compact may feel a little different thanks to a new design feature called Loop that sees the edges of the screen curve into the sides of the device, but in terms of pixel density and viewing angles, the X Compact should match the Z5 Compact and Z3 Compact.

Sony Xperia X Compact vs Z5 Compact vs Z3 Compact: Camera

The Sony Xperia X Compact features a 23-megapixel rear camera with triple sensing technology. This means the main Sony sensor is supported by two additional sensors, one for colour and the other for depth of vision.

The rear camera has a sensitivity of ISO 12,800, which can be controlled manually along with shutter speed, but it is only capable of Full HD video recording rather than 4K. There is a 5-megapixel camera on the front.

The Xperia Z5 Compact also has a 23-megapixel rear camera with up to ISO 12,800, though it is not manually controllable. It is capable of 4K video recording however and it too features a 5-megapixel front camera.

The Xperia Z3 Compact has a 20.7-megapixel rear camera, again with a sensitivity up to ISO 12,800 and again, not manually controllable. The Z3 Compact is capable of 4K video recording like the Z5 Compact, but it drops its selfie camera resolution to 2.2-megapixels.

Sony Xperia X Compact vs Z5 Compact vs Z3 Compact: Hardware

The Sony Xperia X Compact has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor under its hood, supported by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. There is a microSD slot for storage expansion up to 256GB and there is a 2700mAh battery on board.

The Xperia Z5 Compact runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. There is microSD on board again and the battery capacity is the same as the X Compact at 2700mAh.

The Xperia Z3 Compact has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and microSD support again. The battery capacity drops slightly to 2600mAh but it's probably not enough to notice a difference between the other two devices being compared here.

Sony Xperia X Compact vs Z5 Compact vs Z3 Compact: Software

The Sony Xperia X Compact launches on Android Marshmallow with Sony's bloatware over the top. It offers a couple of extra software enhancements including a new battery management feature and the manual camera control we mentioned previously.
The Xperia Z5 Compact launched on Android Lollipop and again featured Sony's bloatware over the top, while the Z3 Compact launched on Android KitKat.

The Xperia X Compact and Xperia Z5 Compact will see an update to Android Nougat at some point, but the Xperia Z3 Compact was not listed by Sony as one of the devices to be updated.

That will mean the X Compact and Z5 Compact will offer a similar experience, with a couple of differences here and there, while the Z3 Compact might not see any of the new Nougat features.

Sony Xperia X Compact vs Z5 Compact vs Z3 Compact: Conclusion

Unlike the Compact devices that have gone before it, the Sony Xperia X Compact compromises in a few areas including both the processing power and the build quality in comparison to the larger flagship.

It offers more RAM than the Z5 Compact and Z3 Compact however, as well as USB Type-C and an improved camera if you ignore its lack of 4K video recording.

The X Compact has the same battery capacity as the Z5 Compact, along with the same fingerprint sensor, but it misses off waterproofing, which is a shame. It is also slightly larger and heavier than its immediate predecessor.

Is it worth upgrading from the Z3 Compact? Probably. Is it worth upgrading from the Z5 Compact? Probably not, unless you are really keen on USB Type-C and some improved camera capabilities.

Alleged iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
specs suggest better battery life
and cameras
With the release date just around the
corner, Apple is all set to remove the
wraps off the next-generation
smartphones, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
next month, as per previous leaks. Ever
since the first news about iPhone 7
surfaced, lots of rumours, leaks and
genuine news have been floating around
the Internet for a while now.
Both the handsets are expected to come
with Apple’s new A10 chip, which offers
about 20-30% jump in performance and
reduced battery consumption. Also,
previous renders of the iPhone 7 and
iPhone 7 Plus reveal that Apple could ditch
the 3.5mm audio jack for both variants
and the 7 Plus might be designed with a
‘superior’ dual lens camera. In addition,
both the devices are expected to come
with an iOS 10 operating system and have
cameras with OIS (optical image
stabilization).
However, a new report by Twitter user
@the_malignant includes some information
about hardware specifications. It is
recommended that you consider the
information with a pinch of salt, as the
user has a mixed track on leaks. However,
given the previous leaks, many of them do
make sense.
iPhone7
The iPhone7 will feature a 4.7-inch display with 750×1334 pixel resolution. The device is expected to
come with 2GB of LDDR4 RAM and a larger
battery capacity of 1,960 mAh. Also, the
device will feature a 12-megapixel camera
with 1/2.6 sensor size, F1.9, and 1.3 µm
pixel size.
iPhone 7 Plus
The iPhone 7 Plus (also referred to as the
iPhone 7 Pro by some) will feature a 5.5-
inch display with a resolution of
1920×1080 pixels. It will also include 3GB
of RAM and have a battery capacity of
2,910 mAh.
As mentioned earlier, the iPhone 7 Plus
will feature a dual-camera configuration
that will help take better pictures in all
lighting conditions. The iPhone 7 Plus/Pro
is likely to launch with two 12-megapixel
cameras with 1/3 sensor size and F1.9,
but the data of the dual-camera system
are not yet available.
All those who are looking for a big update
this year may be disappointed. Despite its
solid number status, this year’s iPhone is
widely believed to be an incremental
update ahead of a much more significant
one in 2017.
Since, 2017 will mark iPhone’s 10th
anniversary in the market, Apple may
want to celebrate it in style by saving
something special for the new iPhone.
According to the rumours, Apple’s plans
for 2017 iPhone include a massive design
overhaul, inclusion of AMOLED display
technology, the removal of the home key
altogether and much more.

Alleged iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
specs suggest better battery life
and cameras
With the release date just around the
corner, Apple is all set to remove the
wraps off the next-generation
smartphones, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
next month, as per previous leaks. Ever
since the first news about iPhone 7
surfaced, lots of rumours, leaks and
genuine news have been floating around
the Internet for a while now.
Both the handsets are expected to come
with Apple’s new A10 chip, which offers
about 20-30% jump in performance and
reduced battery consumption. Also,
previous renders of the iPhone 7 and
iPhone 7 Plus reveal that Apple could ditch
the 3.5mm audio jack for both variants
and the 7 Plus might be designed with a
‘superior’ dual lens camera. In addition,
both the devices are expected to come
with an iOS 10 operating system and have
cameras with OIS (optical image

For a long time now, it seems as
if the original Samsung Galaxy
Tab S line would never be
receiving Android 6.0
Marshmallow updates. Gladly, it
eventually turned out not to be
true as updates are being
pushed to the 10.5-inch LTE
Tab S in Germany.
Samsung emphasises a couple
of things in its changelog,
comparable to the fact that you
could "exercise greater control
over app permissions" , see a
redesigned app drawer, and
use Doze to take advantage of
better battery life. Moreover,
you should expect a number of
unnamed bug fixes and stability
improvements included in the
update.
If you purchased a Galaxy Tab S
8.4 LTE from Germany and have

its smaller siblings should start
receiving updates

There are times I think that phone torture
tests are ridiculous, but at least we get those
“omg-they-didn’t-just-do-that moments”
when watching them. The recently launched
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had to go through
several torture tests that were cringeworthy,
enlightening and downright stupid.
The first test is from Gizmoslip.
Can the Note 7 survive being frozen in a
block of ice, then dropped 100ft onto
concrete?!

And it will surprise you to know that it actually survived.

As you can see, it survived the test of dropping the phone from 100ft, I know you will say it has to be a miracle, but it did survive.

Next is the scratch test. Remember the Note
7 comes with the latest Gorilla Glass 5 that is
said to be tough, However, when YouTube
user JerryRigEverything tested its durability,
he discovered that the Note 7 might not be
100% scratch-resistant. (The fault lies with
Corning). So it is highly recommended that
you use a screen protector if you plan to buy
a Note 7.

Finally, and in my opinion, the most stupid of
all, is the Coke test. YouTube channel
XeeTechCare submerged the Note 7 in a bowl
of Coke and then freeze it in sub-zero
temperatures overnight.
Did it survive? Despite freezing the Galaxy
Note 7 in coke for 11 hours (The longest so
far),

And according to the person conducting the test, it survived.
Of course, no sane person would willingly
freeze their phone in coke or throw it from a
100ft buiilding, but should in case you get
possessed to do it, you need not fear, the
Note 7 has got your back.
Please leave of comment before you go.

Samsung has announced that the Pink Gold
Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are now available
in the United States. Best Buy will exclusively
offer the smartphones online and in its retail
stores. (Photo : Samsung)...

Samsung announced it would release a Pink
Gold color option for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge
back in April. The company has announced the
brightly colored smartphones are now available
from Best Buy.
When Apple unveiled the iPhone 6s and iPhone
6s Plus, it also introduced a new color optioits flagship smartphone duo. Rose Gold quickly
became the most in-demand color choice when
the smartphones went on sale. Part of its
appeal was instantly recognizable, as it was only
available as a choice for Apple's latest iPhone,
allowing users to quietly brag they had the latest
and greatest.
This wasn't a new play from Apple, as it made
the same move with the Gold iPhone 5s in 2013
and it's expected to repeat adding a new color
when it launches the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
in a Space Black color choice that will be
exclusive to the next-generation iPhones.
Samsung has also put focus on adding new color
options. Its just released Galaxy Note 7, which is
available in a new Blue Coral color, is currently
sold out and new customers face up to a 3-week
wait for the phablet.
Samsung followed in Apple's Rose Gold footsteps
when it announced the Pink Gold Galaxy S7 and
Galaxy S7 edge in April but the color choice has
not been available to customers in the United
States, until now.
If you've been holding out purchasing a
Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge because
you desired the Pink Gold hue, the company has
announced that Best Buy will be the exclusive
seller of the color option.
Best Buy is now offering the Pink Gold Samsung
Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge with 32 GB of
internal storage. The retailer is only selling AT&T,
Verizon and Sprint variants of both
smartphones, sorry T-Mobile customers.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch 2560
x 1440 Quad HD display, while the Galaxy S7
edge packs in a 5.5-inch dual curved edge
screen with the same resolution. The handsets
include the same specs: Qualcomm Snapdragon
820 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal
storage and microSD expansion slot.
The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge boast 12-megapixel
rear cameras and a 5-megapixel front-facing
snapper. The handsets feature a premium glass
and metal design with wireless charging built in
and its cases are also waterproof and dust
resistant. The Galaxy S7 includes a 3,000 mAh
battery, while the S7 edge packs in a larger
3,600 mAh battery.

Flip phones may have become a niche in the smartphone era, but that will reportedly not stop Samsung from putting out the rumored SM-W2017, thanks to its appearance on the
Geekbench and Antutu benchmark tests.

Specs

Based on information provided by both tests, the W2017, codename Veyron, looks to feature a 4.2-inch, 1,920 x 1,080 resolution display. If the phone is anything like its predecessor, however, it will also sport an exterior display. On the inside is a 5-megapixel camera and a 12MP sensor can be found around back.
Under the hood is where things get quite intriguing, with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and 4GB RAM running the show. The Veyron will reportedly include 64GB of native storage out of the box, though the battery capacity was not divulged. Even so, its predecessor included a 2,000mAh power pack, so expect something similar for the Veyron.

Related: Rose gold is so 2015: Samsung’s pink gold Galaxy S7, S7 Edge are now available

Finally, and somewhat unfortunately, the Veyron looks to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box, though an update to the fresher Nougat might be in the works.

Note:
that Samsung is not the only major phone manufacturer to be putting out flip phones, with Gionee and LG also releasing modern equivalents of the phones of yesteryear. Even more impressive is that when it comes to horsepower, these phones do not hold back nearly as much as you think they might, with the Veyron in particular matching the specs of its distant cousins: the
Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, and Note 7. The Veyron may not come close to selling as many units as Samsung’s trio of flagships, but there certainly is a market for such phones.

Release

Samsung has not officially announced the Veyron yet, so availability information is unknown at the time of this writing. Even so, the phone’s appearance on benchmark tests might mean its release is at least imminent, particularly given its predecessor’s November 2015 release. Furthermore, the W2016 did not leave mainland China, so the same might be said of the Veyron.

Apple To Remove Iconic Home
Button In 2017 iPhone: Rumor
By Vincent Lanaria | Aug 26, 2016 08:16 AM
EDT
The iPhone 7 may be making the current
headlines regarding Apple news, but there
are already details of the 2017 iPhone
cropping up. The talk in town now is that the
Cupertino brand could be ditching the iconic
home button in the next flagship.
Aligning with the development are the reports
that the iteration will look like a "single sheet
of glass" and sport an OLED display.
Interestingly enough, it will mark the device's
10th anniversary, and that's arguably the
reason why speculations and info about it are
already surfacing even though the iPhone 7
hasn't rolled out yet.
The news comes from none other than
Bloomberg, and the bit about the removal of
the home button was mentioned as part of
the report regarding the upcoming iPhone
getting the mobile tap-to-pay FeliCa support
for transit payments in Japan.
More than that, another notable change
expected to come to the Apple-branded
smartphone is that there will be a premium
option that has a curved display, just like
Samsung's typical offerings. On top of that,
the South Korean manufacturer is also said to
be the supplier for the "edged" OLED screens.
On a related note, the iPhone 7 won't be
getting rid of the home button, but it's
expected to do away with something else that
everybody is already accustomed to: the
headphone jack. In its place will be a
Lightning port instead, and it pretty much
alienates users who have invested in audio
equipment with a 3.5 mm plug.
In light of that update, Apple cofounder Steve
Wozniak said that it's likely going to "tick off a
lot of people." At the time, it was already
pretty clear that many fans were unhappy
about this "upgrade" of sorts.
Fortunately, not everything in store is
negative, as the iPhone 7 is said to get a
memory improvement to 3 GB worth of
RAM and might be fitted with two rear
cameras.
To boil things down, the upcoming iPhone
models are straying off from the traditional
designs so far. While it's already odd for the
iPhone 7 to lose the headphone socket, the
2017 iPhone removing the familiar home
button is an even stranger thing, but it does
indicate how Apple wants to drastically
redesign its smartphone lineup in the near
future.

Google officially released its latest Android 7.0
Nougat, rocking a slew of neat tricks and
improvements. We've compiled a list of the
top 10 Android Nougat features, so here's
what you get with the new OS. (Photo :
Android)
1. Enhanced UI And Better Notifications
Since the visual changes are the first ones
you'll see as soon as you boot up your Nougat
device, the tweaked UI deserves a special
mention. Android 7.0 Nougat brings instant
control toggles when swiping down from the
top of the screen, improving the way you can
activate or deactivate Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and
more.
The notification menu, meanwhile, gets a cool
overhaul that makes better use of available
on-screen space, sporting smaller fonts and
bundling all notifications from the same app.
Moreover, a new Direct Reply feature now
enables users to reply to messages faster and
easier, straight from notifications, as Google
finally enabled the feature for third-party
apps as well. Another useful trick is pressing
and holding on a notification to access the
app's settings, which makes things arguably
more convenient.
2. Instant Apps
Google's new Instant Apps may well be the
greatest change to app stores in ages,
significantly facilitating access to apps. Instant
Apps basically allow Android users to start
using an application immediately in the Play
Store, without even having to download it.
With Android Nougat, you can simply open the
Google Play store page for an app and start
using it instantly, so you can try it out before
deciding whether to download it or not. This
could be a real game-changer for how we try
out new apps.
3. Power Saving
One of the most commended features of
Android 6.0 Marshmallow was Doze, which
brought neat battery optimizations to keep
devices running for longer on a single charge.
Google is now taking things to the next level
with Android 7.0 Nougat, introducing "Doze on
the Go."
While the Doze in Marshmallow placed devices
in a dormant state when not in use, Doze on
the Go offers power-saving features even
when in motion, whenever the display is off.
Another neat feature called Project Svelte,
meanwhile, keeps apps from waking up when
detecting changes in the device's network
connection.
4. Vulkan API Support
With Vulkan API support on board, Android
7.0 Nougat should substantially improve the
quality of mobile gaming, virtual reality
experiences and other graphics-intensive
applications. Vulcan is designed to replace
OpenGL and deliver a smoother, more
streamlined cross-platform game development
process. As a result, mobile games should be
more power efficient, work more smoothly
and look better.
5. Lower System Requirements
Google started a while back to make its
mobile operating system lighter, so to say,
aiming to make Android work well even on
devices with less impressive specifications.
Android Nougat now rocks tighter core
components, lowering the system
requirements to run faster on devices with
lower-end hardware. This builds on the
efforts Google made in earlier versions of
Android, starting with KitKat.
6. Daydream VR
Google Cardboard is nothing compared to the
ambitious Daydream VR , the company's latest
platform for virtual reality. Daydream VR pairs
VR headsets and controllers with an Android
Nougat-based UI designed to facilitate
discovery and consumption of VR content.
Moreover, Daydream VR will rock an
impressively low 20 ms latency, which should
translate to the best mobile VR experience
yet.
On the downside, Daydream VR will only be
compatible with a few new handsets, which
means that current devices will most likely not
be able to support the platform. Future
flagships, however, should have no problem
getting the most out of Daydream VR.
7. Seamless Updates
Android 7.0 Nougat will minimize disruptions
by introducing seamless updates, borrowing a
page from the Chrome OS playbook. Simply
put, the system will discretely download the
OTA update in the background when
connected to Wi-Fi, and install them as
separate system images on the device
storage. This means that you'll be able to
continue using an app even while it's
updating in the background, as Nougat allows
two system images to run at the same time.
The latest system image will automatically
boot up upon restarting the device.
8. Google Allo
Android Nougat finally brings Google Allo to
the table, arriving as a cool new messaging
app that taps Google's powerful search,
security technology and machine learning. Allo
will allow users to make web searches and
bookings quickly and easily, without having to
leave a conversation. The app is also designed
to offer suggestions for message replies,
based on what messages and photos you've
received.
Moreover, Google Allo also sports an
"Incognito Chat" mode that not only protects
messages with end-to-end encryption, but
also allows users to set timers for when they
want messages to expire.
9. Google Duo
Neatly complementing the Allo messaging app,
Google Duo is the company's new video
calling app, aiming to make video calling
easier than ever. At the same time, Duo also
doubles down on security, ensuring end-to-
end encryption for all calls. Google Duo
quickly soared to the top of the Play Store,
ranking as the top free app .
10. Better Multitasking With Quick Switch And
Multi-Window
Google has always handled multitasking quite
proficiently with Android, but Nougat makes
everything better. Quick Switch, for instance,
will allow users to seamlessly switch to the
last used app simply by double-tapping the
Recent button.
Speaking of the Recent menu, Android 7.0
Nougat also introduces a new Clear All Button,
which was missing from the stock version of
Android Marshmallow.
Multi-window makes use of the Recent menu
as well, allowing users to easily open an app
from another app. More specifically, if you
press the Recent button while you're using an
app, you'll have the option to select another
app to open alongside your current one. Both
apps will work simultaneously in a split-screen
view. This should significantly improve
productivity, especially since you'll be able to
drag items from one app to another when
both are open in split-screen view.
Conclusion
There are many other cool features and tricks
Android 7.0 Nougat has up its sleeve, as this
top 10 merely covers a fraction of what the
new OS has to offer. If you've already tried
the latest Nougat flavor, drop by our

favorite Nougat features.

For those that saw the " Do you agree to WhatsApp’s updated terms of service!!", and didn't bother to read more about it, this is an  enlightenment.

Whatsapp users, start getting ready for an onslaught of messages from companies looking to patronize you. The company outlined in a blog post the kind of interactions it wants to have, including more targeted ads . However, in order to do this, WhatsApp will share your phone number with Facebook’s system but your phone number will not be visible to anyone, and thanks to the end-to-end encryption your messages and chat will remain private because even whatsapp cannot get access to them.
The company has this to say about the recent update.
" People use our app every day to keep in touch with the friends and loved ones who matter to them, and this isn't changing. But as we announced earlier this year, we want to explore ways for you to communicate with businesses that matter to you too, while still giving you an experience without third-party banner ads and spam. Whether it's hearing from your bank about a potentially fraudulent transaction, or getting notified by an airline about a delayed flight, many of us get this information elsewhere, including in text messages and phone calls. We want to test these features in the next several months, but need to update our terms and privacy policy to do so".
The good news is they have also created an opt-out method, so don’t go cussing Mark Zuckerberg yet. You can opt out of this whole Sharing thing, if you already clicked the ''I Agree" button follow this to undo it.

The Colombian put behind constant speculation over his future at Santiago Bernabeu to impress off the bench, and his coach affirmed he was not going anywhere.

Zinedine Zidane singled out James Rodriguez for praise after Real Madrid battled to a 2-1 victory over Celta Vigo.

Madrid's 14th consecutive LaLiga win came courtesy of Toni Kroos' strike nine minutes from time after Fabian Orellana had levelled Alvaro Morata's opener.

James has been heavily linked with an exit after being left out of Zidane's starting XI for all three of the club's games to start the new season, following a 2015-16 campaign that saw him restricted to only 17 league starts.

But Zidane liked what he saw from the Colombia international after he came off the substitutes' bench with 21 minutes remaining on Saturday when the match was still level at 1-1.

"I have seen good things from James and, as you say, yes he will be staying," Zidane told reporters after the playmaker's cameo saw him have a penalty appeal turned down and force a late save from Sergio Alvarez.

"It is not easy when you enter a game and you have to make a difference. He and Lucas [Vazquez] improved the team. He took his chance and the substitutions added something extra for us.

"We can do better, but I wanted us to believe until the end as that is what matters and we accomplished it to get the three points.
"It is true that in some of the matches we have not played as we wanted but I am very pleased with how we have started the season - two wins in the league and one in the [UEFA] Super Cup.

"There are no easy games, Celta were good going forward and both teams struggled with the heat, so I was pleased with the players' attitude."

Having been frozen out of the first two games of the league season, the young forward was the visitors' hero at the KCOM Stadium and should be featuring more often.

Jose Mourinho insists Marcus Rashford has a big part to play for his Manchester United after the teenage striker secured a 1-0 stoppage-time win at Hull City.

Rashford was dropped down to the England Under-21 squad this week having failed to play a minute in United's opening two Premier League wins.

But the 18-year-old came off the bench to dispatch Wayne Rooney's low cross at a sodden KCOM Stadium and snatch a victory that looked to have evaded United.

Mourinho has a reputation for being an uneasy nurturer of young talent – Rashford is the first teenager to score in a Premier League game under his management – but the former Chelsea boss spoke glowingly of his matchwinner.

"Marcus Rashford has a lot of chances waiting for him," he told BT Sport .

"When the team was chasing the ball against Leicester in the Community Shield and tonight, he made a difference for us.

"He gives new problems to the opposition so I am really happy with him and the team. Even defensively, we controlled their counter-attack." United have their hunger back.

Mourinho praised his team's determination on the back of cruising to comfortable victories over Bournemouth and Southampton and made his targets clear having witnessed a conclusion that was once the hallmark of Old Trafford title-winners.

"We deserved [to win] and in a more comfortable way," he said. "It is a great feeling when you win the points in the last minute.
"The boys were very strong and the second half was like going to fight against a wall. We had an amazing mentality. We were very strong and tried to create problems for the opposition. We tried and tried and got it.

"I tell the boys every day we have to go into every match to win. We must not be happy with less than a win. We know we will draw or lose matches but the mentality has to be go to win. Today they showed that."

He added: "We want to be champions, we don't want to start well, we want to finish well."

Mourinho promises more chances for matchwinner Rashford
