if the original Samsung Galaxy
Tab S line would never be
receiving Android 6.0
Marshmallow updates. Gladly, it
eventually turned out not to be
true as updates are being
pushed to the 10.5-inch LTE
Tab S in Germany.
Samsung emphasises a couple
of things in its changelog,
comparable to the fact that you
could "exercise greater control
over app permissions" , see a
redesigned app drawer, and
use Doze to take advantage of
better battery life. Moreover,
you should expect a number of
unnamed bug fixes and stability
improvements included in the
update.
If you purchased a Galaxy Tab S
8.4 LTE from Germany and have
not seen the update
notification. Waste no further
time and use the manual
process to check for new
software.
1. Go to Settings
2. Tab on About device
3. Tab on Software update
Hopefully, the software update
will soon be released to other
regions in the world and then
its smaller siblings should start
receiving updates
