Here Is How the Galaxy Note 7 Handled A 100FT Drop Test, Scratch Test & Coke Test

There are times I think that phone torture
tests are ridiculous, but at least we get those
“omg-they-didn’t-just-do-that moments”
when watching them. The recently launched
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had to go through
several torture tests that were cringeworthy,
enlightening and downright stupid.
The first test is from Gizmoslip.
Can the Note 7 survive being frozen in a
block of ice, then dropped 100ft onto
concrete?!

And it will surprise you to know that it actually survived.

As you can see, it survived the test of dropping the phone from 100ft, I know you will say it has to be a miracle, but it did survive.

Next is the scratch test. Remember the Note
7 comes with the latest Gorilla Glass 5 that is
said to be tough, However, when YouTube
user JerryRigEverything tested its durability,
he discovered that the Note 7 might not be
100% scratch-resistant. (The fault lies with
Corning). So it is highly recommended that
you use a screen protector if you plan to buy
a Note 7.

Finally, and in my opinion, the most stupid of
all, is the Coke test. YouTube channel
XeeTechCare submerged the Note 7 in a bowl
of Coke and then freeze it in sub-zero
temperatures overnight.

Did it survive? Despite freezing the Galaxy
Note 7 in coke for 11 hours (The longest so
far),

And according to the person conducting the test, it survived.
Of course, no sane person would willingly
freeze their phone in coke or throw it from a
100ft buiilding, but should in case you get
possessed to do it, you need not fear, the
Note 7 has got your back.
