If you’ve been waiting for the launch of Nokia’s new Android device, I got a bit of good news.
We’ve gathered some details of the new device that was spotted on GeekBench last week. The name? Nokia D1C.
Specs-wise, you are looking at the latest octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC, with each core clocked at 1.4GHz, it would also be powered by a 3GB of RAM and would run Android 7.0 Nougat straight out of the box. Despite this impressive specs, rumor has it that it might be a mid-range device.
Also, there might be another high-end device from Nokia which would feature a premium metal body, large display, fingerprint scanner and more. No further details on this one, though.
In my opinion, Nokia going the mid-range way (Hopefully with an affordable price tag) might be one of the best strategies they can employ to win back their customers.
No words on when we’d see these devices, but words have it that it might be a 2017 reveal.
